We have a 2 year old striped male cat named Tigger. We had him neutered when he was 6 months old. He was a perfectly normal cat, until we added our 4 month old male kitten Smokey and our other female kitten Patches. Now, the thing that would make logical since is that our female cat, Fluffy (Tigger's sister) may still have some motherly instincts although she was spayed at 6 months old. The crazy thing is, that she doesn't want anything to do with our kittens. But, Tigger on the other hand, has decided he loves to be a mommy. He willingly lays on his side in the floor and waits for Patches or Smokey to come and nurse on him. Its obvious that the kittens only do this for security, but it just amazes us as well as the rest of our friends and family that the kittens do this to a male cat, much more that he allows them too. Tigger also continuously cleans and loves these kittens although they are far beyond depending on mommy anymore. Thanks for reading
