I too know what this family has gone through. I have a teenage son also dealing with epilepsy. We have been battling his epilepsy for 6 plus years, tried 11 different medications and VNS with no control. We are now in the process of testing for determination of epileptic surgery at UCLA. This show has shown us the hope and possible future for my own son. Thank-you to Discovery Channel for this show and to the Sky and his family for sharing there experience.

What types of medicine was he on?

He is currently on Depakote, Zonegran & Klonopin. But have tried Dilatin, Tegratol, Keppa, Lamitcal, Topamax, Phenobarbital, Gabitril & Neurontin.
