My TIVO now shows that episode 12, Encylopedia Galactia, will air on April 1st at 9 PM. The first 8 episodes aired before it went away - if episode 12 will air April 1st then what happened to episodes 9-11? I contacted media relations today to see if they have an answer. BRING BACK COSMOS!

So, here we are, weeks after one of the most important science shows in TV history, in the middle of its much-heralded return, mysteriously disappears from the Science channel and still no response as to why or what will happen. This forum's moderator cannot even get an answer from the Sci-Channel programming dept. Pathetic, people, that kind of behavior is what is known as pathetically poor customer service.

Do you guys think that’s there’s some kind of experiment being developed to see how many people actually even watch the show. To tell you the truth the only reason why I JUST became a member was to post this respond asking why Cosmos isn’t on any more; and I see that I’m not alone. Hmm, I really do wonder why it doesn’t come on any more. Do you all think the show was a little radical or was it just air time, and they wanted to get a quick buck off of the views by changing their interest from an awesome show like this one; like for insistence if you go to a store that you LOVE you obviously buy something, but there’s a sell for a another product that has some similarities of the things that you usually buy; SO you buy it.
Maybe this is just a marketing technique to make a profit of the viewers’ interest. In a sense this is a bit wide-scoped, but the relevance is still here; like with the persistence title being on the TV every time “The Planets” comes on and a description applies too (from the Cosmos series). So their playing on our very desires; amazing, so their goal is to make- force- us to conform, but like I said this is only a CRAZY 8D theory; and if I’m right I still wouldn’t understand why they would do this to an every awaiting following.
That would be torture- which to me it is- this would be just like if a movie series never released their final piece to a trilogy, or if GTA VI just came out and your local game store(as you stare through the glass and see bodies moving) is still closed during open hours. IT’S INFURIATING. This really doesn’t pan out to well, so this is why my theory may have a leg to stand after all; buy than again I don’t know. Does anyone else have anything to say? I really would like it some could clear these Venus cloud for me.

It just doesn't make enough sense. It's been a whole month + some days...I just don't understand. A whole month; and even when it comes on the weekend it's still the samething "The Plantes". :\, I just don't get it.......hmm.

I just finished reading the interview with Carl Sagan's wife Ann Druyan; I'd bet she could help get the show back on the air. Big Grin Or is it that they want us to purchase the box set? Man, that would suck SO much. I don't have $130; I love this show, it's the only show I've ever seen that takes reality and serves it on a sliver platter. WHY ARE THEY DOING THIS!?! Mad I have been looking for the show, but even on the weekends it doesn't even come on. hmm...Ann Druyan, I hope she can change this. Frown

Thank you for the COSMOS series being on again for all including the young people who may be inspired for the greater good as Carl inspired in the past. I pledge by putting my money where my mouth is and will purchase your series when I return home, the series having run its full course.

May you continue to do your good work too. You have presented many good series.
