I'm in my early 20s, but many people say I look 12 to 16 (runs in family). I would like to use make-up to make me look my age as I'm in the process of looking for a job. No make-up knowledge!!!! Please Help!!!!

I am white with farely flawless skin, natural rosy cheeks and medium/dark redish lips, and have Dark Blonde Hair (almost Brown) with blue eyes.

Okay as far as makeup goes, I find that lipstick almost ALWAYS makes a girl/woman look more mature but make sure you find that right shade for your skin tone. Remember that everyone can wear red lipstick, but not everyone can wear the same SHADE of red lipstick. If you want to look more mature by wearing lipstick of any sort, and you have a fair to medium skin tone, you should wear pinks/corals. But first you should decide what color looks better on you, gold or silver, If gold does that means you should look for warm colors which means they have a gold tint to them, and the same goes if you look better in silver it means you have a cool skin tone which means you look better in more blue/purple undertones.
As far as eye makeup goes, you should probably go for a smoky looking eye because it looks dramatic, but not like your trying too hard. I find to get the perfect smoky eye you should first apply a neutral/beige eyeshadow up to the crease (the part that kind of caves in when you open your eyes) and a dark beige/brown on the outer corner of your eye, but make sure you blend it! Then apply brown, NOT BLACK (black looks too dramatic, and way too nightime, not work time) eyeliner to the top of your eyelid (the thinner pencil the better and more natural). Also apply it to the under of your eye, (basically just follow the liner with your natural eyelashes) Then smudge the liner with either the other end of the pencil (they sell pencils with a built in smudger) or a qtip. Then apply a brown mascara to the lashes and sweep on a blush to the apples (part that sticks out when you smile) of the cheeks in a shade that contains rose or coral in the name. Oh and one more thing, DONT EVER USE LIPLINER, it will make you look like a drag queen. HOPE THIS HELPS Smile
