Does anyone else find the Humiliation Factor to be too high in the new episodes? The deal was always to get in a box, let people trash you and then get all this good stuff.

I think that this year they've pushed that over the line. At least for me. Doing the interview in public, for one thing. And really, really grinding in the negative comments. Today the poor woman was asked if the fact that she looked like **** was hurting her marriage. Too far. For me.

I agree with you about the humiliation factor. in previous seasons, there was a sensitivity that really drew me into the show. I wanted to see their transformation. I really feel like that is gone in the new shows.

It is so off it reflects stupidity, these people look horrible, but they dont look older necessarily. A tee shirt makes for a poor image but doesnt add 10-15 years, definitely over playing their hand in a dumb way.
