Disappointed with this years Best Rasnger coverage. I look forward to this each year. These soldiers deserve more than just one hour so we can better understand their sacrifice and get to know the competitors. I preferred more time on character building - so I actually cared who wins.
I was so utterly disapointed with your coverage of the Best Ranger 2007. How is it that you can call yourself the military channel and not cover this great event in extraordinary detail? I didn't even see any advertisements for this years event. Even the OLN network did a 5 part miniseries event for the Best Ranger 2006. I am keeping a close eye to see if they are going to do the same this year. These men deserve our attention, respect and gratitude for their service. I am a veteran and I find this to be a slap in the face of our special forces. 1 HOUR, what a discrace!! Although I am saddend and dismayed by your coverage, I am happy to see a channel dedicated to our military. This is just a hand slap for you but please get you stuff together and soon.
I'd like to add my name to the list of those posting to complain about the extremely limited coverage given Best Rangers 20077. The show as featured in the past was one I have always waited all year to see and have been a fan of for several years now. The one hour "highlights" segment does not do justice to these brave American warriors nor to the spirit and intensity of this great competition. If that's the best you can do, give it back to OLN. At least they knew how to do it right.
The production was TERRIBLE!!! Graphics were marginal, CLASSICAL MUSIC??? please! Go back to the original format. Stop bringing producers from the food channel to do Best Ranger. What an injustice. I know Production assitants that could have don a better job. No emotion, no charecter development with the stories. The father and son team could have been great I am sure Dad has seen combat and could have talked more about the skill sets and life experiences passing the torch to his son. Booo! Ranger stand for excellence, the producers who cover them and the Military Channel should too!
this year was awful. i wish the outdoor channel had kept coverage of best ranger. when they did it it was extremely well done and was broken into one hour shows for each day. it also went into greater detail and showed more competitors.
