I was watching Battleplan "command of the air" which compares the Battle of Britain to the First Gulf War and how inportant air superiority was. Great.
Several times in the show they used a computer graphic viewed from France, to show the German air raids on Britain by using arrows emanating from France. On more than one occasion they also showed such arrows emanating from carrier-looking ships in the Channel. What's up with that?
I'm thinking it may have been the graphics. I haven't seen this episode yet, but looking up the Battle of Britian, there appears to have been Luftflotte 5 group coming from Stravanger, Norway.
