I was wathcing your episode of Weaponology regarding fighters when I noticed that during your discussion of the "Sidewinder" AIM-9 heat seeking air to air missle, all of footage shown involved the "Sparrow" AIM-7 missle which is a radar guided missle and not the Sidewinder. Someone needs to pay closer attention.

I just saw this show this afternoon (Jan. 1, 2008.) It was so error-ridden it was ridiculous.

In the section about the Me262, they twice mistakenly showed a Me163 Komet. How in the world could they confuse the two? The komet has stubby wings with no engines on them.

In the Spitfire section, they showed a Hawker Typhoon. There must be hours of footage of the Spits, yet they couldn't find a few seconds worth for their show.

The section on the Me109 mistakenly showed a FW190.

And in the part about the F-104 Starfighter, they mistakenly showed an F-16. Pathetic.

They should be embarrased for putting out such garbage. I could put together a better show. Is it really so difficult to find someone who can distinguish one plane from another? I can do it, and most of the people here could too.

If you're going to release a show as a "documentary," it should at least be accurate.
