Please do a show on how the Bernoulli Principle has been miss-applied to and has even impeded our understanding of lift and flight.
The dogma that “Air travels faster over the wing and this causes low pressure and lift” is backwards and is simply Bernoulli Baloney. – Now there’s a good title for the show.
The low pressure area over the wing occurs because the training edge is lower than the “hump”. The wing sweeps air from underneath the air column above the wing. The inertia of the air mass creates low pressure over the wing. This area of low pressure in turn causes the air mass to accelerate downward and gain velocity and momentum. As the air mass accelerates downward, the wing is lifted.
A vortex is a concentration of fluid energy. In a vortex, the force of Newton inertia is balanced by the (Newton derived) force of Bernoulli low pressure. The wing harnesses a segment of vortex and creates lift.
Consider the curve of a ball. A perfectly smooth ball responds to Bernoulli and curves toward the side that is spinning forward. A rough ball traps and accelerates air mass in the boundary layer. It sheds this mass in its lee with the velocity and vector of its trailing rotation. The ball curves in the opposite direction. A baseball curves away from the side that is spinning forward.

P.S. Don’t expect your aeronautical engineers or “experts” to know this.
