I guess I will start this off with a quote that I think will explain most of this topic..... 'Why is it that, as a culture, we are more comfortable seeing two men holding guns than holding hands? ' -Ernest Gaines I happen to be gay but I am not at all like the sterio type commonly used on television in such show as Will & Grace, Queer Eye, and many other sitcoms. A show needs to be done that explores all the aspects of a lifestyle not just the part of the lifestyle that sticks out the most. A good example is being gay, as in the examples above out of the whole group of gays this type only makes up 20% of the whole, myself has noticed that I have never been asked "Are you gay?" but I have noticed things like "Yeah! Sure! Your not gay!" and "You can't be gay, your to much like men are!" and such, It is well known that threw our genetics we are headed to becoming an A-sexual race (not in our lifetime but it is going to happen). This is only one example of a lifestyle group that is incorrectly labled only because of the small groups that stick out and make the news. The media needs to point out that their reporting on subjects like this is not the only view and not the only facts available. If you ask me this world needs a properly done show can start the ball rolling.
