For a reason I do not know, (I would say a past-life experience), I was always fearful of dwarfs. One day I was waiting for the light to change and a very small man stood next to me. He had almost no legs. I got slightly dizzy when I saw him. A few weeks later, I was in the local bodega and this same man came in with his dog. I bent down to pet the dog and talked to him. That incident made me more sympathetic and less fearful.

Watching this show has given me such an awareness of what it is like to be a little person--very helpful.

Also a good example of how knowledge can erase fear. I thank the producers for showing us the trials of little peple. I particularly like it when the LP convention is shown.
