This is a story about the Desert Kats, but its about real meerkats, not about the mob that i have maded.

It is a story whit 13 episodes.
One week after the 13 episode there is going to be a next season.

It’s a calm day, the whole mob is early this morning, not so strange because they are very hungry.
Trusty hasn’t eat in days, when the group is heading for breakfast they run into another mob, the Bliss, this mob is very aggressive.
They are whit many more than the Desert Kats and begin the fight, the Desert Kats have to retreat.
When they are done whit foraging Trusty wants to go home, when night falls every members is sleeping already, but Vera is thinking about something, she saw a male, a cute and lovely male, but he is a enemy, so she has to look out for him.

Episode 1, “Evil or good?”

The next day Vera is early in the morning, she heads off to the Bliss burrow, on her own. She sneaks carefully to the burrow, she goes into it, she can small the scent of the Bliss, but still she stays walking, but she discovers that the burrow is empty.
Her cute love isn’t in it. Trusty and the others are worried, they don’t know where Vera is.
Trusty decides to go in search for her daughter, and when she finds her she is alone. Vera goes back to her burrow to sleep to whole day, the whole group is worried about her, what has happens nearby that burrow? When Trusty and the others return they discover that Vera is not in the burrow, they smell Bliss scent, what has happened whit Vera? There is nothing whit Vera, but she is not on her own: her big love is whit her, Tair has find her and fall in love. They groom each other, but when Tair sees his chance Rap Dog chases him of. Trusty gives Vera a warning and then they return home. Vera still cant sleep, her big love chased away by her own family, will she see him ever again? After months the group again run into a mob, the Bliss, whit Vera´s big love Tair.
But this time they have to fight against each other, a true nightmare for Vera. When the groups are attacking Vera runs away.
But some one is following her and finds her, Vera smells that it is Tair, but this time he isn´t friendly: he attacks her and gives her a naughty bite in her tail, Vera runs of, back in the burrow she is confused; Tair has attacked her, is he the true mate for her?
Maybe she just have to forgot him.. When her family is retuning, they are very happy, because they have killed some one.
The next day Vera discovers something terrible; it is her big love Tair that was killed….

Next time in Desert Kats;
Will Vera find love again?
And it look likes bad for the Desert Kats when they are chased in a burrow whit the enemy attacking.

Previous time;
Vera has seen her first love Tair, but he is killed in a battle, by Vera's very own family, blamed by her family life is hard for Vera.

Episode 2, “Enemy whitin”

The shiny sun of the Kalahari is coming up, the Desert Kats are warming up in the sun, but one of the members is blamed by her family, Vera is all alone, she is not evicted, but her true love Tair is killed, by her own family.
After that all Vera dont trust her family anymore, that can be dangerous for a meerkat in a big desert whit many great dangerours.
Birds of pray, jackhals, starving, illnis and rival groups, as Vera dont go back to her family, life looks like hopeless for this blamed female. Trusty is worried about Vera, but still she need to go foraging, and the group is leaving whitout Vera, Trusty is pregnant, but not by Rap Dog, but by his rival brother Devil, he is dominant male of the Bliss, but it seems like that he is intrested in every female he can get. Devil is on the way again, but on his own, he is near by Vera and can smell her, if he sees her as a potantiël rival, she will be killed by this brute male, but he is not intrested in fighting, all what he want is to mate whit Vera, and he get his chance, as Vera get pregnant its almost clear that she will be evicted by mother Trusty, all what Vera can hope is that she dont get pregnant. But Trusty and her group have other things to worrie about: Lily the trouble maker has alart another group, that group is the Commands, the twenty strong group cant tolarate a young female on their territory, Big Bull gives Lily a chase, unfortunly she runs to her family, thanks to her, the Desert Kats can be in serious trouble. When Vera is returning she raises the alarm call, she has spotted the Commands and want to warn her family, but she gets them in eaven bigger trouble, because they run into a bolt hole, there is no escape, the Desert Kats are trapped in the burrow whit the enemy attacking. As soon as the rival group digs out the burrow and goes in the Desert Kats know its over, they manage to escape but not whitout paying a serious prise for it. Trusty their dominant female is not at the main burrow. The next day the social culture of the group is broken, whit the dominant female missing and the dominant male bleeding, they dont know what to do, but one family member is happy, because she haves the crown of the family, Vera has taken over the position of dominant female. But she dont know that only ten km away from the bolt hole where the Desert Kats where attacked lays their dominant female Trusty, powered over by the strong family of the Commands she has payed the ultimet prise, she is killed...
For less than one year Trusty has led the Desert Kats family, killed by her own daughter that has tryed to safe her family but whitout knowing has made a ramp for her family...

Episode 3 “A new era but also a ramp”

After the tragic death of their dominant female, the Desert Kats have a problem: Vera is dominant female, but she never had pups. And a inexperience female of 3 years is not a good leader for a small group like this. But they have another problem: Vera is very sad, she wanted to protect her family from danger but she has killed her mother… Whit this all AND the problem of keeping their territory, it look likes sad for this little group. Vera decides its time for breakfast, she goes on to her first day leadership. But her day isn’t beginning good, they bump into a cape cobra, and whit only five, mobbing is hard. Mike thinks he can chase the snake of on his one and get bitten in his paw. Its hurting and he has to go back to the safety of the burrow. Vera finds a tasty millipede, but just as she wants to eat it, Rap Dog raises the alarm, the Commands are back, and they want the Desert Kats territory. Vera has no choice, they have to flight and leave Mike behind. The Commands are digging out the burrow, the Desert Kats retreating they don’t know what happened to Mike. When they find a new burrow, they discover that its not empty, there is a snake in it, they have to find another burrow before dark. Its Youssy who comes to the rescue, he finds another burrow, and its empty, when the group is settling down for the night, Vera cant sleep, she has already ‘killed’ two family members, and under her lead, it looks bad for the Desert Kats, they are starving and without territory, they cant go out to forage. The next day its eaven more bad, Youssy has decides to go roving, now the group is only whit three members left, and when Lily is missing, the mob knows that this is a bad situation. Vera don’t know what to do, Rap Dog don’t want to stay whit her eaven one day more. Vera is on her own again, and she don’t know what to do. If she stays lonely, its clear that she wont survive the Kalahari. But Vera has a idea, she goes on search for Mike, if he is alive, its clear that he wants to join her. But Vera has to be care full, its Command territory now. When night falls, Vera returns, Mike is death. It likes hopeless for Vera.

Episode 4 “The lonely loner”

When the Desert Kats where under attack, Vera decided to flight, the result is the death of Mike, the leaving of Rap Dog and Youssy and the loneliness of Vera once again. Nearby the new burrow of the Desert Kats Vera is all on her own, her spirit is broken and she is left to defend for herself by her family. If she don’t do something fast she dies. Vera is cold and starving, she is so sad that she don’t see that a lonely male is walking in her direction. If he wants to mate and stay on the side of Vera, she can be in luck, but the male is chasing her away, and another group raises the alarm, once again Vera is chased of her land. On her own and chased away Vera is hopeless, she wants to join the Commands here second love the dominant male is there, if he recognize here, she can have a new family and a new start. The dominant male Scarface sees her, but don’t raise the alarm, he is curious and wants to know what this lone female is doing. When Vera is almost there, Scarface comes in action, he runs to Vera and scentmarks here, she haves a new family, the whole group is sniffing at here, Vera don’t know what to do and runs of to Scarface, Scarface begins grooming her, a few days ago the Commands has lost their dominant female. Maybe Vera can get that position. When Scarface mates whit her its almost clear; Vera is the dominant female of the group, happy and warm she goes to bed. The next day Vera is still starving, when foraging she steals a beetle from Cindy another female, Cindy is angry but there’s nothing what she can do, if she attacks Vera she can be evicted. Vera is happy and warm and whit a new family things are about to chance for this young girl of the Kalahari.
The next day Vera is very sick, and its from that beetle she has stolen from Cindy, maybe it’s a punish.

Episode 6 “Toxic secret”

After eaten a bad beetle Vera has made the whole group sick, Vera has recovered from here sickness but here group is still sick, she has to made a decision; leave the group and search for new luck or stay whit them until they can go foraging again. The next morning Vera is the first one up, but today she stays the first one, here whole group has died out from the mysterious disease, Vera is alone once again, no luck for this lonely female. When she go on foraging she sees familiar meerkats, Rap Dog and Youssy has returned to help Vera, but they are not alone: Rap Dog what a lucky rover and has taken his family whit him, and Youssy has brought a whole bunch of female too. But now there is again one single problem, who is gonna be dominant female and who dominant male? It look likes Rose and Youssy, Vera is happy, she is not alone any more and is healthy again. When foraging Youssy finds a pup, he don’t give it to Rose but to Vera, she is now responsible for this pup, his name is Star, but Vera don’t have any milk, she is trying to learn Star to eat fast food and whit success, in the shortest time ever a pup learns to eat food. The whole group is helping Vera whit searching food for Star and his future looks great.
The next day its storming, so the group cant go out foraging, not matter because they aren’t hungry. Lying in a warm burrow whit a new family is also nice. After the storm they go out to play, Star wants to play whit the adults but he is to small for that, so Vera plays gently whit him, the other meerkats play whit each other. Everything is fine after the ramps and loneliness that Vera must come through. But the next day Star is sick and after a few hours he is death…
A true nightmare for Vera.
