There are too many role-plays popping up around the Mix. The Mix is for stories, polls, games, poems, etc.
DO NOT make more than one role-play, PLEASE! If you want to RP a lot, you can join other role-plays. There's no need to make a squillion role-plays of your own.
Before you say "You have no authority! The Mix is for whatever we want!" look back at pages 4-6. Almost all stories and games. There aren't many role-plays at all. Then look at the current page... all role-plays.
Please, help keep the Mix full of stories, comedies and fun. Excessive RPs aren't needed!
Also -
Since a lot of RPers have been getting a bit over-violent, inappropriate in their posts (mating scenarioes, etc.), and have been chatting a lot, I've decided to make some basic rules and guidelines.
1) NO VIOLENCE. Do not make threads for battles and fights. If you want to have a battle, then said batle can take place on another site.
2) Be appropriate. You gotta remember that there are people of all ages reading this board. Do not make threads advertising that your character is "single" or "looking". That thread is bound to be deleted, and if you persist in making said threads, you will most likely be moderated - meaning - the mod has to approve any of your posts to go live to the board.
3) Use proper grammar and spelling. Chatspeak is hard to read and quite annoying to many readers. So, instead of saying, "da m33rkat walks closer 2 da bur0", say it like this: "The meerkat walks closer to the burrow." Also, do not use curse words, whether they're fully written out or asterisked.
4) Do not spam. Spamming is when someone makes a pointless post, such as a single smiley, or an incomplete sentence. Spam is unbearably annoying and is just ruining the thread which it is posted on.
5) Don't bicker. If you have a disagreement with someone, do not bicker about it or insult anyone. It brings everyone down and spams up the board.
Well, that pretty much sums it all up. I'm not the moderator, and I don't really have any authority, but please follow these rules and guidelines.
