Rug Guppies .... ferrets are sometimes affectionately called Carpet Sharks. However, everyone knows for a fact that there are no ferrets in California. We DO have a few California Stretch Cats .... whatever they are ... ??? Yeah, 3 mobs of meerkats at the SD Zoo in different locations. One, i think, in the Children's Zoo? A very cool zoo. But i do think they should call their "ferret" a European Polecat as you suggested, codyferret.
I am feeling like a murderer today. I was cleaning out my fish tank and was netting my guppies (the "old fashioned" kind now considered "feeder fish" to some). I temporarily tap the net into a bit of clean water so i can remove any debris caught up in the net with the guppies. However, i got the wrong container and this one contained hot water. Before i caught it ... i had ... killed ... about 10 sweet little guppies. My stupidity!!! My only hope is that ... OMG ... that their nervous system was instantly shocked ... All i had to do was check the water!!! My stupidity has cost innocent animals their lives!
