That commercial at 8:50 announcing the new episode airing at 9 definitely doesn't make any sense, especially since mythmod posted this at 7:35.

I wouldn't be so ticked if I hadn't seen that commercial.

i cant believe they didnt show the new mythbusters, and didnt bother to tell their audience why. Thats not the way you treat loyal viewers!!! If I wanted to watch the olympics i would but i dont so now i'm stuck watching whatever crap is on.

This is crap. I, too, was excited about the new episode. I, too, saw the commercial touting the new episodes "starting tonight" during How It's Made less than an hour-and-a-half ago. WTF. Please Explain.

I just got cable after not having it for 3 years. Now I remember why I got rid of it in the first place.

I wonder if it is some kind of copyright issue. Although, they have done viral videos before.

Loyal viewers should be able to watch these eps. on discovery.com NOW. I put other tasks on hold to tune in, at least we should get an acceptable explaination about the circumstances leading up to this BS. This looks to get very ugly before it's over. Please explain.

Holy crap... I posted on this board (the only web site I have open) and my antivirus goes crazy saying that I have a virus. Looks like one of the ads served on this page carries viruses. You Discovery mods may want to address this issue...

Normally I wouldn't think the Olympics would warrant a schedule change, but I guess whats-his-name coming close to breaking the gold medal record made the Olympics far more popular than expected. Thus someone decided to pull the new episodes, thinking too many people would be watching the Olympics to be able to effectively show a new episode of MythBusters.

Bad move. BAD MOVE!

Things change, for what ever reason, they change. I understand that. The MB, and team have done their job. But this is not the first time this has happened with Disco.

I am sure that we will all survive. But the MB did their job and delivered a product to Disco, Disco then said they would deliver a product and did not.

MM. I am sorry if I made your life harder. I really am. No response is requested. I have already talked to Disco.

What I can not understand is how Disco can not talk to cable when you (as an outstanding moderator) can notify us an hour and a half before the show starts.

Time Warner has three techs that sit in the office 24 7, and their sole job is to check line ups.

It's going to be more than two weeks. It appears as if they took the next two episodes (this weeks VIral and next weeks Ninja2) and delayed then until further notice. In two weeks will be the scheduled NASA episode.

Now on the topic ... what a very bad decision by Discovery to pull these episodes because of the Olympics (if at least that is the reason).

A large portion of people can always catch the episode on it's 1AM EST repeat airing if the Olympics are what they chose to watch. Currently on the Olympics is Women's Beach Volleyball ... as much as I like to watch beautiful women play volleyball on an artificial beach ... Mythbusters would have been better.

If the Olympics are the reason you should have just delayed the entire season until after the Olympics .. Been waiting since the end of last season for new episodes and am very disappointed to not be able to see them right now.
