Here is the responce I got

Dear Viewer,

Thank you for contacting Discovery Communications. Our family of US networks include: Discovery Channel, TLC, Animal Planet, Discovery Health Channel, Discovery Kids, The Science Channel, Investigation Discovery, Military Channel, Planet Green, HD Theater, FitTV, Discovery en Espanol and Discovery Familia. We also distribute BBC America and BBC World in the United States. We appreciate your interest in our programming.

Program schedules are made available on discovery.com at the beginning of each month. These schedules are subject to change especially during world events such as the Olympics and updates are posted as soon as possible.

Your TV Guides or other on-screen guides may not reflect the most recent schedule changes, because the schedules were sent to your cable or satellite provider prior to the schedule change.

Please use the "My Discovery" feature on our website at discovery.com to receive e-mail reminders letting you know when your favorite program is going to air by selecting the network of you choice.

Thank you again for expressing your interest in our programming.

Sincerely,

Viewer Relations

Jzabi, you post things acting like a little kid throwing a tantrum and well you will get treated like a kid. Get over it.

As for the change. People if the biggest problem in your life is that Discovery Channel delayed the airing of a couple of Mythbusters episodes, then you should really count yourself lucky because you have a great life.

So get over.

Good god people. You've all given Discovery channel a sound thrashing, now it's time to get over it. Yes, it was poorly handled. NO, I'm willing to bet tonight will NOT be the Viral Videos episode, they'll surely hype it for ANOTHER week again.

But for one, leave Mythmod alone. And for two, there's nothing you can do now! All I'm waiting for is the updated schedule.

Your 30 page rant-thread is just proving their point. Think. Say there were 30 posts per page. (Which there aren't.) That would mean if NO ONE double posted, then 900 people came to find out what happened. 900 people. Think. The Olympics IS having an effect on ratings, WHETHER OR NOT you think it is. You're the most hardcore of fans, but there are a LOT of fans who WOULD rather watch the olympics, and Discovery won't risk it.

Yes, BADLY HANDLED, we all agree.

Now quiet down and wait a bit, okay? OKAY.

Agreed nothing can be done now.
Although we are angry, it will not reverse this poor decision..

Now if I paid for discovery (as in not paying for a cable bill, but paying to discovery as a premium channel), I would be much more upset and I would have canceled.

I didn't sensor what you had to say - I removed the 'leventy seven nested quotes so people reading the thread would see what YOU'RE saying, not all the quoted stuff.

Besides, wouldn't you rather I edit the bad language out of a post than remove it entirely?

How about you people stop hideing behind MythMod. Only a small fracton of the people upset blamed Mythmod. Most of us are Blameing Discovery and the high up there.

Don't like that people are still upset then stay out of the thread. In till this thread is locked it's reason for staying up is so people have a place to express there anger without spaming the boards.

Kidding aside, I'm curious if the Mythbuster production crew is aware (most likely) and if so, what they feel about all this? That'd be really interesting to know.

OK, that may explain the censorship on Jzabi's posts. But what about the wholesale censorship of 4 of my posts. They contained no profanity or extraneous nested quotes. Why were they censored?

At no time did I blame MythMod for the preemption. What I didn't appreciate was her lack of respect towards the fans who expressed disappointment about the preemption. For this my posts were deleted.

God, I forgot all about that! Think many others will get the reference?

Best laugh I've had all day!

Seriously folks, getting upset is fine; venting your frustrations at Disco is fine; but some (and granted, it's only a select few) are acting like they caught Mythbusters in bed with another fan; if missing a TV show is causing that much of an upheaval in your life, you really need to rethink your priorities.

I'm sure they know.

I'm HOPING that it was pulled so more content could be added, or it could be reedited to make a better show (say, adding "pop popcorn with a cell phone" to the Viral episode), but who knows.

The fact that complaints are simply generating a form letter response seems to indicate that they aren't too worried about disgruntled fans. Hopefully that will change.

This is quite funny... because an episode has been rescheduled, mythmod (who's just a messenger), Olympic games, volleyball and China have been hated by various people on this thread.

The reason for the lack of respect, I would guess ,is that you are all acting like spoiled children. Lucky I wasn't the mod because I would have just deleted all of the whining posts with a sense of glee. Discovery Channel made a decision to postpone a very episodes. So what? Did you loose your job because of it? Are you homeless now? Did you get cancer because of it? NO, so no big deal. If this is the worst problem in your lives then you have nothing to complain about.

This is not the end of the world, in fact it isn't even in the top 1 billion major issues in the world.

I refuse to get over it. If you don't like my attitude, feel free to "get over it" yourself.

I don't buy the Olympic argument. I actually don't believe the Olympics have higher ratings. The whole thing is a Chinese propaganda ploy, and I'm willing to bet the numbers are exaggerated if not entirely false.

But that's not the point. So 900 of us signed on to find out what was up. How does that prove their point? Are you assuming that the people on this board are the only ones upset? I can assure you that is not the case. Plenty of folks probably went to bed not knowing what happened, and even fewer will have the attention span to actually google it.

Don't tell me or anyone to quiet down. We're past that at this point.
