Recently they hooked up a plant to a lie detector and an eeg machine to see if a plant could feel emotions like fear and sense danger etc... While Tori and Grant were in the room with the plant, they picked up readings. I'm satisfied with their assessment that hitting the tree and the fact that they were both in the sealed room with the tree could have explained the readings. However, when Tori and Grant were outside the room and Tori was still thinking hostile thoughts to the tree, they still got readings. I feel that they didn't dig into this mysterious anomoly enough. They seemed to kinda shrug it off. I would like for the MBs to revisit this particular scenario to do it justice. What do you folks think?

I agree - but Jamie and Adam seem less than thrilled about these types of myths. I find it extremely interesting and wish they would pursue it further.

i think the reason the pecentage of respose decreased when they left the chamber is this
if someone were to threaten us 20 time and not do anything do you think you would belive it?
same with plants.
ALSO!
with the eggs going into the boiling water no wonder the plant showed no emotion. THE EGGS WERE FROM THE STORE MEANING THEY WERE D-E-A-D! NO CEALULAR COMUNICATION IS PLASABLE THERE!!!!!!!!!!!

You guys might be interested in this:

Japanese researcher Masaru Emoto’s study shows the power of words (and sounds)—spoken or written and their effects on water crystal formation. I wonder if it would affect the plants molecular structures as well.

This episode should have been conducted with more than one plant hooked up to an EEG...

Send four people through the room...instruct htree of them to be "nice" to it, singing, watering and stroking leaves...

Instruct the third person to DESTROY one of the plants...

Parade the four people past the surviving plants...the "murderer" should give a reaction with the three survivors that is OFF THE SCALE...

Grant and Torey stuffed this one up....needs redoing....can prove the urban myth that plants can recognize individual people....
