Seriously. This is STILL advertised on the TV Listings on Discovery.com. After watching for so long, I really feel like the victim of a bait and switch. The episode was mediocre, the treadmill should have been the grand finale.

Bah.

We have a 200 page thread in our forums about the PoaT mythbuster episode.

There were probably 1500-5000 people watching the episode tonight waiting to see the results, from our forum alone.

We had all types of bets going on whether or not the plane would take off.

We watched, watched some more, and watched as the closing credits rolled...

TV Guide said this episode would feature the PoaT.

We want PoaT. Please give us PoaT.

longtime fan of the show, and after getting lead to believe that the PoaT would be shown, and now confirmed about being lied to. i will not watch the show anymore.

The one myth that has been waiting for and it is not shown. They advertise it on teh website, but do not show it. WTF?

What happened tonight was a travesty. I've been waiting a week to see the *promised* airplane on a treadmill myth. Tonight rolls around and, nothing not even a blurb about it. I am very dissapointed in the mythbusters for misleading us all this time.

This is absolute bull. I called EVERYONE I knew and told them that this was going to go down tonight and that we would have an answer to this after years of debate. Well guess what? We got screwed over. Good job Discovery, you just lost a LOT of frequent watchers by screwing us over like this. I hope it was worth it.

Just here to waste more bandwidth beacuse it's the only satisfaction I'm getting out of this waste of a show tonight

Ok, to all of you that are complaining and calling for the MB's heads, HEAR THIS!

This is not the first time it has happened. Think back to the grenade episode. DISCO PULLED IT, because they found fault with it. You can bet that the MB are not the ones that pulled the segment. So if you are going to complain, direct it to the ones responsible. But before doing so remember one thing. They still ended up showing the grenade episode at a later date. So shut up and quit your complaining.

The MB do not owe you anything. NOTHING AT ALL. So fricking deal with it, or shut the hell up!

If you are just one of the fans that are curious as to what happened, and are not being idiots then this post is not directed at you.

Not only did they fail to deliver PoaT, they showed a mediocre episode.
