I expect guy that skipped his wedding to be dating show saying, "I skipped my wedding to catch s show that didn't show what I wanted to see" or something like that
I checked my listings -- that's why I didn't know about this myth even being tested.
But the listings did "mess up" like I posted prior ("Adam and Jamie landing a jet in different weather conditions" -- bad description for what it was).
I don't think he has to worry about killing himself. Even it they did show the POAT, just skipping his wedding should make hime worry about what his fiance is going to do to him.

To be fair I think most people would trust mythbuster's own site over local listings about what episode is going to be aired, well at least I would anyway.
I thought that the link to the demotivational poster about mythbusters was pretty funny....but I guess its been deleted as I can't seem to find it.
Oh, there were a lot of shimmering little nuggets of ...ahem... 'wisdom' last night. In a way it was entertaining to chuckle at how creative people could be in response to not seeing what they wanted to see.
Imagine if they put their creativity towards something useful!
Specially when one of the new members that was suspended for a particularly foul language filled post attempted to spam my email box. Unfortunately, every list he attempted to sign me up for was a "double confirmation" list where you have to actually respond to the initial sign up email. They all got reported as spam. Then there's the one who emailed me to teach me some new swear words I've never seen before, that was a real educational treat, let me tell you!
I might see if I can zip up a "best of" just for the hell of it....
Mythmod and Dan, thank you both for your patience and responses.
There were a lot of disappointed pilots on a forum I frequent last night, but to be fair, we were all operating under the TV Schedule from Discovery. I didn't even bother to check my TiVo guide information (which was accurate) because I simply have MB set to Season Pass.
I'm looking forward to the January episode, and the resulting "OMG YOU DIDN'T DO IT RIGHT" that is bound to occur after the airing.
Thanks again for your level headed responses!
Signed,
A less disappointed fan who will get over it (aka William)
Well, uggae, unless you somehow got the 'lucky refresh window' there wasn't much to really see. I have no clue how I was able to get as much as I could while others were completely timed out on the site... some with faster connections than mine... it was a real riot, in the full sense of the word!

Someone on a message board I frequent copied it - I probably shouldn't repost since it got deleted in the first place, but you can see it here
