I heard that a girl at six flags kentucky had her feet cut off. They said she was on the superman tower of power when a cable wire snapped and cut her feet, from the ankles up, clean off. Come on, is that really possible? I remember the episode when they tried to cut a pig in half from a snapped wire, but that myth was busted.

YES!! This really happened!! But, the actual cause of how the cable wrapped around her legs is still under investigation, and it does not necissarily represent the myth they tried on the show.

A man was just killed from an arm being cut off from a rope snapping:

" WICHITA FALLS, Texas — A landscaper removing shrubs died after a rope pulled by a truck to uproot a stubborn plant snapped and severed his left arm, police said.

Alan Max Hutchison, 47, was also apparently struck in the chest and ribs Saturday by the sharply recoiling rope, Wichita Falls police Sgt. Van Dotson said. Hutchison died later at a hospital.

The rope broke on the first attempt to pull the shrub from the ground using the truck, police said.

Wichita Falls is about 20 miles south of the Oklahoma border, north of Fort Worth."
