Dear Mythbusters,
Recently, you "busted" a myth that said a wire or rope under tension could not sever an individual. In your demonstration, the pig was uncut even under extreme circumstances. Based on the following articled published in the Dallas Morning News on July 9, 2007, this myth is still very much alive and plausible.
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS - Alan Max Hutchison, 47, a landscaper removing shrubs, died Satruday after a rope pulled by a truck to uproot a stubborn shrub snapped, hitting him in the chest and severing his left arm, police said.
You've been busted!

How? Did you finally locate a report of a person being cut in half by a flying cable?
Oh, no - I see you didn't.
By the way: other reports on this incident cast further doubt; one on the radio said that he managed to get his arm entrapped in the rope, and the driver kept pulling, which led to the injury. I'd like to see a more definitive report, even though this isn't the myth they were investigating.

And if that is actually the case (that the driver kept pulling after his arm was caught) then, they have not been busted. Because if you stuck around long enough to see the end of that segment they wrapped the cable around the pig and wenched it until it cut it in half.
Exactly the conditions of your "bust".
