After doing the show for a couple of weeks, you'll know most of the poses, since this is a basic series of yoga routines.
It's better to stuggle a bit to catch up the first few times because once you know the poses for memory, it would be tedious having to wait for instruction every time. The pace really isn't that fast once you learn it.
This is one of the best flowing yoga shows I've seen. I like that it's taken "out of the studio".
Try it for a couple of weeks and you'll learn to love it as much as those of us that have been doing it for months. There were poses that I couldn't do at first that have gotten easier in time.
The pace is way too fast. First, it will not be slow enough for beginners, even after a few times.
More importantly, even if you DO get the "flow" after a while, the pace is such that YOU WILL NOT GET THE FULL BENEFIT OF THE POSTURES BY MOVING THROUGH THEM SO QUICKLY.
This is useless yoga due to the speed and short duration of the show.
A better format would be an hour-long show where postures were held a little longer. Even in a "flow" class (in person) you will hold postures for longer.
A standard yoga class at a good studio in a major city will be an hour and a half. A bunch of poses quickly jammed into a half-hour won't get you far or give you the full benefits of yoga.
Sure, it's better than nothing, but you'd be better off buying a longer yoga video.
Flow yoga is all about flowing into postures with breathing and that makes it dofferent from yoga were you keep the postures longer! Remember this is a different style of yoga with extremely great results. I wish it was longer in duration though and have no commercials if this could be ever possible!

That's why I have TiVo.
To some of the others: I like the length of this program because I don't have a great deal of time. The local yoga programs are 1.25-1.5 hours long and that's just not going to happen. Having this program at home is much more convenient and time-effective. I won't be a 40th level Yogi? Well, I really don't care. I'm getting out of it what I currently want.
