I just discovered this great show and have been recording them on my Tivo. Are the shows meant to be watched in a particular order? I've never done yoga before and am very out of shape...not overweight, just out of shape.

Of the episodes noted as being for beginners, should some be done before others? I've got little flexibility right now. Should I do some episodes to work on flexibility first? Thanks!

Seated twist is a good one to start with. Here's an episode guide. If you have questions on specifics of the episodes, let me know.

Thanks, bobshope. I'll look for Seated Twist. I don't think I've Tivo'd that one yet. I did Water Light the other day and it was pretty good.

I get a little nauseous when having to do down-facing dog and when I roll onto my back, bending at the waist to try to touch the floor above my head with my feet (can't remember the name of that position). I guess part of the nausea is from this being new to me and also because I get motion sick anyway.

I went to the episode guide that bobshope linked in his post. I printed out all the episodes and then I put them in order, beginning, intermediate and advanced.

I then went to the schedule to see when the episodes were being broadcast and recorded them in that order. It takes a bit of time but i think it has helped me, I have kept with the beginning episodes for now, they are getting easier and I can move on soon.

I would caution you to be careful and listen to your body, if you are getting sick or light headed, then modify the poses so you are comfortable. I take a class from a great teacher and she is always saying that our bodies will let us know what works best.
