In Episode 10: Filth Breeds Big Problems, there appeared a small Brussels Griffon named "Chaco" that was rescued from a breeder with 77 animals. We were the ones who adopted "Chaco" nearly 2 years ago. I just wanted to report that "Chaco" is thriving very well today. Everyone seems to love his disposition. Many of our friends refer to him as a "chick magnet" and constantly want to care for him when we need a sitter. He spends his summers lying on a non-submersible float with us in our swimming pool. In the winter, he attends my softball games each week and also watches our Bocce Ball games. My team mates adore him.
We are indeed fortunate that "Chaco" was so very well mannered and fit into our life style easily. He had to have been cared for earlier in his life as he quickly responded to simple commands and was already housebroken. Although he lost an eye during his rescue by EAMT's Rocelle Carlson, it hasn't hampered his ability at all.
Just wanted to report that the little Brussels Griffon named "Chaco" will play the role of "Toto" in an scene from the "Wizard of OZ". He was the dog who he lost an eye during his rescue by EAMT's Rocelle Carlson. He was selected because of his calm nature and personality. The performance will take place at the Renaissance Theater (by a community theater group called "Showtime") in the PebbleCreek community in Goodyear, Arizona beginning November 14, 2007 for four nights. It will be his first stage appearance.
