In the episode where the juvenile gopher snake was removed from a glueboard in the garage, it was stated that they reach 9 feet. This is not correct. Gophersnakes (Pituophis catenifer) only reach a maxiumum of 7 feet.

Apparently 9 feet is how long the homeowner led the AHS to believe the snake was when she called in for their services! *LOL*

Here's hoping that cute little snake grew to his full 7 foot potential and is happily eating desert creatures as we speak.

It's kind of funny that in the episode that they had the EAMT's train for only a few hours on how to remove rattlesnakes. Most of the time people just call the fire department. The one thing never mentioned is the fact that baby rattlesnakes have no control over their venom and are also born without a rattle. That comes much later.

I do hope that the EAMTs are prepared if they do get bitten especially by a baby who's venom is more even dangerous due to the lack of control.
