I am looking for a weiner dog named pepperoni. He was on the show (might have been san francisco) and the poor lil dog lost an eye cuz his bad owner hit him in the head with a hammer. My love (James) cried for pepperoni. James is from a family that loves weiner dogs (his parents have four!). Has somebody adopted pepperoni??? if not, we want him for christmas! Any Information would be appreciated!!!

The original telecast of Pepperoni was several years ago on Animal Precinct in New York. He was adopted by a family with another dachshund.

nitro is right. further, the person who adopted him was an ASPCA staffer who lives in an area by the water. they showed some lovely shots of her and her mother walking the two little dogs by the water, and the dogs became fast friends almost immediately.

it's what one might call the ideal happy ending for little Pepperoni.
