 i am not sure if this is read by anyone other than fans but i sure hope so i would like to know how i may qualify to maybe have a bike built, not for me but for my dad. he has noropithy and is losing the use of his legs so it would have to be a three wheeler, or something modified. he is a huge fan of the show he sees every show calls me at home to see if i am watching, of cource i am, and tells me how much he would love to ride again. i did not really get it until my brother came to my parents house with his new Harley, and when he was getting ready to roll out my daddy said " wait, let me get to the window so i can watch you ride away". that left me heart broke. he is a old harley rider for way, way!!! back he is still sporting his log ponytail, which is now white, he is the strongest man i know, a great daddy, loving husband. always there to do what ever and NEVER ask for anything in return, the tears in his eyes when my brother drove away wasnt for a bike just to ride. but for something to ride with his son.i know this is a tall request, but i have watched the show and i have seen the bikes you guys have done. thank you for your time.
Seriously, Your best bet is to appeal to someone like Oprah who might come up with an HD, not the Teutuls for an expensive trike that they've never built before.
That would be a great idea transplantman. another idea comes to min is that montanagrizman is working on a project were he is getting sponsorships to make a chopper as a tribute to OCC, and we would have them auction it off to a charity or group. If you want to be on board, or just want to give suggestions to him, you can email him at occfansgiveback@hotmail.com. As a suggestion, maybe when the bike is unveiled to OCC, we can give them a list of charites or groups that we would like for them to auction the bike for or if maybe they just auction off the bike, they can split the proceeds to all thats on the list.
yes that would be something real cool to do thats would be awsome to see happen but dreams don't always come true,i wish something like would happen to me i have had rehumaitiod arthritis all my life and always wanted to ride a harley ,all my friends had them and i couldnt go with them becouse i cant hold up a heavy bike so i was was always left behind to watch them ride off in to the sunset and listen to what a great time they had ,once again feeling left out
it would be a very nice thing to do a bike and donate it to some one on disability becouse being on disability myself i know i could never afford to buy one unless i sold everthing i own and then i would probably have to take out a mortage to get one
Seriously, unless a person has the disposable income laying around collecting dust, why would anybody spend $40,000+ for one of their bikes when you can spend a lot less and get a much better bike elsewhere? Don't get all caught up in the hype, it's not worth it just to say you have an OCC bike.
