Unions are no good they will destroy this country over time. They don't care about there workers only there fat pay check they get from workers dues. They say strike then families go hungry from not working. Look at all the jobs lost and places that closed down. It was all because of a Union.

Unions have been around for nearly 100 years and haven't destroyed this country. Try telling coal miners that unions are no good. I have been in a union since 1982. The reason I have good benefits, good wages and haven't had to endure any paycuts is because I belong to a Trade Union. Collective bargaining is the only leverage an employee may have with an employer.

Try telling that to my mom. When the union was in place at her work, things actually got worse. When union members went on strike, mom crossed the picket line. She was threatened, recieved obscene phone calls, and had vandalism done on her car. After 3 years, the only thing that changed with her employer was a small wage increase. The union dues also went up the same ammount. As a result, the workers got nothing. The fourth year, the union was voted out of her workplace.
