How are things down in Florida today? It's 54 and cloudy here, rain later. We could use it, my wife spends an hour almost every night watering her flowers.

It is in the mid 80 here and Sunny and maybe some rain this afternoon. Things are fine down, might be a busy day.

Really? Cool. No husband or boyfriend to help? That's a lot of work. My friends daughter started up her own landscape business a couple years ago but she's having a hard time making a go of it. Up here she makes more plowing snow in the winter than cutting grass and planting trees in the summer. haha

Nope no husband or boyfriend to help, My dad and brothers use to help but dad died and brothers left when they left to go to college and moved out of state. I have been doing this since I was 13 years old. I think I'm doing fine but it was hard when it was so dry and we finally got some last week. I have had a few guys said marry me and work for me but said no thanks. I think they wanted my business besides a few other things.

I'm sorry about your father, I knew exactly what that's like.

Thanks I lost him 5 and 1/2 years and and lost mom last September.

Yes it hard make things grow when they are burning in 90's degree weather. I was trying to keep my sense of humor during that time.

Oh, I'm doubly sorry, you lost your mom too. That's hard. My dads been gone 23 years but moms still kicking. She's had a couple bouts with cancer but at her last check-up was clean.

Being in Florida, do you drive around for miles with your directional signal blinking? A few years ago my brother was down there and said he's never seen so many cars driving (slowly) straight down a road with their directionals blinking. LOL

Don't think I could take it down there. My son lived in SC for a couple years and even though he likes warm weather, he moved back because it was just too much. LOL

Everytime he comes to visit me or calls me on the phone he wants to know when I'm going to move to North Carolina to be near him.Because this place is not the same as when we were growing up. It changed a lot after that show called Miami Vice aired and not for the good.
