I just got a large dragon tattooed on my upper back. It's only 2 days old, and only an outline and shading, but it's healing awesome. The artist I chose was wonderful and I think he did a fab job. I tried to be careful in my choosing of an artist and did all the research. The only bad thing I have ever heard from anyone is that his tattoos tend to need touching up at some point. Is that a normal thing? When I heard it I wasnt bothered by it, and answers here wont change the fact that he will finish my dragon but I was wondering if that is a normal thing?
hello, touch up could mean a couple things . First it could mean after your tattoo is healed some areas might heal lighter (colors).Sometimes certain colors dont stick well as others, so they need to be touched up . Red is one. Or just over time tattoos fade, biggest reason is the sun . Use sun block without zinc . But the last one could be because artist error and they missed areas .
