im 16 im getting my first tattoo in about a week. and i am an avid wrestler how long will i need to wait before i can start compeating?

im getting a large dream catcher with a bearclaw in it and a feather extending to my elbow beacuse im adopted and ive never met my real mother but she was full sauk fox native amearican and my adoptive parents decided they wanted me to keep my indian name "youngbear" It means allot to me to be part of a tribe of less than a thousand and to carry this name around with me and i want something so i know and everybody else knows im a proud native amearican. Just incase you wanted to know my resons behind getting a tattoo

yo bear, it depends on how well you heal.i know just with shaving i normally wait at least a good month before i do anything that might affect complete healing.anything that causes scratching, cutting, burning(wood or mat)or any irritation to the tattoo can have an affect on its outcome as far as coloration and complete healing.cant give you a definite time but do suggest you give it time before you risk damaging it. hope this helps -vic
