Feedback? Well, here is my opinion (like it or not).

I think the tattoo and the placement of the tattoo are kinda dumb.

Why are you getting the superman symbol? What does it represent to you? Instead of getting the symbol, take the thoughts/ideas/emotions behind the symbol and get something totally original and totally yours.

Its your 18th birthday, its your first tattoo (I imagine), so make it more meaningful that something that is very common.

Just my 2 cents

If you need help choosing than maybe you shouldn't get one! the only way you should get a tattoo is if you know it is something you want and you can make the dissicion completey on your own this is in no way trying to be mean or anything.....
On a different note you wanted something to go around it correct? well what does the superman symbol symbolize to you? if i know why you are choosing that symbol and the story behind it maybe i can make suggestion as to how you can come up with something to go around it!

Getting a henna tattoo (it's temporary) with the tat you have in mind is a good way to see if you'll get fed up with it, thus avoiding a very costly cover-up job later in life.

My thoughts are with Bigtwinky get something with meaning not just some plain ol' S. Ok you have a month before your birthday go find the shop and the artist that is right for you tell them what your thinking most of them will draw you up something great he or she may require a small deposit in case you don't go through with it the time on the work is not a waste. Try that but dont ask strangers what you should get ask other people who know you.

It is ok to ask strangers for opinions on an idea you have.

Don't set a 1 month deadline to get something. I know its your 18 birthday and all, but you will have this tattoo FOR LIFE. Take the time to really think it through.

If anything, find a good shop and talk to an artist, or even book a consultation, on your 18th birthday.

Don't rush.

You will end up with something retarded that we all make fun of

Not to sound rude but I really hate when people ask this question, it's like telling someone who to marry. The tattoo is with you for the rest of your life, so you pick it. Make it meaningful and personal to you. I would suggest waiting to get a tattoo. Take some time to really think about what to get. It took me a year and a half to decide what I wanted, but I'm not saying that it'll take you that long, I'm just trying to make a point.
