I have always been curious about how tatoo artists price their work. It is never discussed how much a certain tattoo costs and the differences for say; black and gray, color, custom drawn by artist, in shop flash, modified art brought in, price by size, by chair time or the notoriety of the artist themselves. I'd really like some feedback from the artists on the show and also from other tattoo shop owners and artists.I do not know where this submission belongs so if the moderator could intervene and put this to where it gets some feedback it would be appreciated.

As far as I am aware I think that most artist charge by how many hours the tattoo takes. Don't own a shop but I have a fair share of custom art.
