i'm thinking about getting a tattoo for the first time. i was thinking of something along the lines of a koi dragon on my calf. would the calf be a good spot for a first tatoo, or would it be too painful?? any advice for someone considering a first tattoo?

you shouldnt focus on which place will hurt more for placement if you really want it on ur cafe get it there if it looks good

Everybody is little different on how they preceive pain. Personally I find the calf to be rather pleasant. This may not be the case for you. Decide what you want and where you want it and do not worry about the pain. Pain is temporary, but your ink will be forever.
