Hello all,
I've been wanting to geta Tattoo, but I can't seem to find out if people are alergic to the ink. I had a heart cath about 3 yrs ago and found out the hard way (heart stopped)that I was alergic to the cath dye. SO if anyone can help me here...?

Thanks....insideshot

Yes, some people can be allergic to tattoo ink.
Typically, if you have dyed your hair and not had any weird side effects, you should be ok for tattooing (I said typically, no guarantee). The pigments used in hair dye are the same for tattoo ink.

Note, that does NOT mean you should tattoo someone with hair dye.

For more info, there is ALOT of information on google available. Many articles and studies have been written.

When you say you can't find, try using google with some choice key words and you should come up with plenty of info

OK, thanks for the info. I really want a Tatoo but until I know I'm not to stroke out, or at least know the percentage from the ink I will keep researching. Thanks again.....insideshot

Find an artist and talk to them about what types of inks they use and how often people have have allergic reactions.

Compentent artists will have full information for you. Crappy ones will send you on your way empty handed

My advice talk to the tattoo artist not all artists use the same kind of ink some use organic powder and make their own.
