I've spent a long time thinking about getting a tatoo... and what I've been thinking of is a set of angel wings on my back... really big ones!

The idea of getting it in black light ink seemed perfect as I want to minimize the insult to my mother...(She "leant" me her body for nine months is how I see...)

However...

I've heard bad things... carcinogenetics? phosphorus...? radium!!!? misleading FDA aproval claims :S as well as browning and fast fading

Should I just stay away from them or is it possible to get it done safely...

O and an fyi my dr. said that I'm a medium risk for skin cancer when I'm older if that affects it at all...

Why would you want to pay money for something you can only see with a blacklight . Good work is not cheap , besides it would turn out bad . Over time the ink will migrate and then you would have a big blob you can see with a blacklight . Besides I dont know of many people that still do those type of tats anymore.
