The pet I will remember forever is Buddie, my rat. He lived a good long life for a rat. Even though he lived alone, he had plenty of attetion from me, and i'll always miss him...
i love rats i got a rat 3 years a go and she was only going to live thoro the summer but she lived on for 2 more years and so when she died she was 3 years old
I didn't lose a rat, but I did lose my closest friend and family member I could ever have. I have been thinking of adopting two albino rats from a shelter, but I need an education since I never owned such a breed. Just remember he is always with you in memorey and still alive.
This is belated, but I'm sorry for your loss. I've lost many rats over the years, my favorite probably being Galileo and Socrates. Galileo was a blue dumbo buck who lived to be the ripe old age of five (I have one of his great, great, great grandaughters), and Socrates was a black variegated dumbo with a possum blaze, who nearly reached seven years old. They were with me the longest and I must say... we had some good times together.
Bowmarya: If you ever need information on rats, just shoot me a post. I run a small rattery and I'm all for educating people on this wonderful pet, especially if they're looking to adopt.
