Hi, my dog's name was tanner, and he was my very first dog. He was healthy for all his ten years until he took sick suddenly july 3rd. july 4th he died and i watched him go. i have never missed a living creature as much as i miss him. i became disabled three years ago and since then he was not only my daily but hourly companion. i decided to register and post here because i am in such misery wishing for him to be here with me all happy and sweet and funny.

im so sorry to hear about Tanner. im sure he was a great dog. how did he get sick?

i know that he is gone for now, but you will both meet again someday and be together forever doing all the great things you guys enjoyed together.

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss, debiscott. What kind of dog was he and how did he become ill??? I have recently lost one of my pets as well and even though it's hard losing a pet, it's also great when you adopt another one. I was so distraught over the loss of my pet, that I went to my local humane society and adopted my new pup Abby, who is the sweetest dog I have ever gotten. She doesn't replace my other dog, but she does fill the hole up that was there previously.
