This has been mentioned before. During the American War for Independence it is said that when the American rebels ran out of cannonballs they shot fruitcake since it was the only thing available at the time. Now with the firing of cheese from a cannon being plausible why not fruitcake?... The fruit inside is sometimes dry and can be used like shrapnel and with the overall density being the came as mahogany supposedly why would it work? or would it shatter in the cannon? or would it be non leathal and just act as a stunning weapon of sorts?
