I am not very knowledgeable when it comes to Native Americans, but I have a friend who is taking an interest in this subject and I wanted to know if anyone knew of some good books to help him out some. His interest seems to be more focused on the culture of the tribes of the 'Wild West' (based on what he has said), and seems to have a particular interest in the American Indian Wars as well. He is just starting out, really so any 'beginner' or 'starter' level material would be more appropriate, but anything regarding culture or history would be appreciated.
