There were not many shows my three kids and I could agree on to all sit down and enjoy together, Croc Hunter was one of the few. We all loved watching Steve's adventures, learned so much, and our love for animals grew and grew.

When I heard the news, I cried thinking of his family that he clearly loved so much. Despite the sadness you must feel now, I hope that in the future you can find some happiness knowing Steve's legacy is worldwide and very rare. He was always and ever true to his passion in life, the animals, and his love and pride in Terri, Bindi and Bob was ever evident in every single episode I watched. Not only a great man who gave so much to the world, but obviously a loving husband and father.
We are all that much more aware and appreciative of our environment and the creatures who live in it because of him. Watching his courage and strength to stand up for and make a difference to the cause he believed in made him a role model for us all.
