Terri, I also am from Oregon and have always been a nature and animal lover. I find joy and peace with nature and feel an incredible burden to protect that precious gift. I was seventeen when Steve and you first aired on Animal Planet and I instantly fell in love with both of you. The last ten years have been extremely stressful and there have been ample trying times in these years, but whenever I would get discouraged or depressed, I would watch the Crocodile Hunter. It would instantly cheer me up and inspire me. I never have or will encounter an individual with more life, vitality, inner glowing beauty, and joyfull infectiousness as Steve. You two and your wonderful children have inspired me to the Nth degree, and I know you, Bindi, and Bob will continue to touch our hearts and souls with your plight for conservation. I just recently graduated from college with a degree in communications. I chose this degree to enable me to get a foot in the door to become a voice for our planet. Thank you for your unselfishness and love. Sincerely Your admirer and friend, Laurin Burke
Dear Terri, I want you to know that my heart goes out to you and the children,i have said a little prayer for you everyday,i also wanted you to know that because of your husbands passion & genuine love for animals i have a huge groundhog living in my woodpile out back,i could bear to trap it and move it to another place because he seemed so happy where he was,hes been living there for 4 yrs now and even the neighbors have come to see him as part of the family,I remember that Steve never once removed an animal from its home unless he felt the animal was in danger...so Ralph still lives under our woodpile.. Terri, stay strong and remember you have so many friends that love you dearly and are thinking of you everyday
