Terri and family. I'm so sorry for your lose and sorry again for our's. Steve ment so much to all the animal lovers of the world he will be missed. Again I'm sorry. Jimi.
As I sit here & read all the articles, opinions, fareware messages & of course let's not forget about all of the CRITICISM about Steve Irwin I have to share with everyone what it is he taught me...
There is one thing that comes to my mind about wildlife or any of the wonderful creatures on this earth and the dangers associated with interacting with them----
The very most dangerous creature on this earth are HUMANS..
Don't tell me to "BE CAREFUL" OR "WATCH OUT FOR THAT ANIMAL AS IT IS MEAN & I MAY GET HURT" --because I interact every single day with the most dangerous creature on this earth..He is right there beside me everywhere I go & in everything I do & even when I go to sleep at night..
Steve Irwin's real message to me was RESPECT!!
If you respect everything on this earth then the results are always better for everyone and that is what MY HERO - STEVE IRWIN taught me and I believe that is what he was trying to teach us all about life...
I am not qualified to pass judgement on what happened that day with the wonderful Stringrays but I do know that in every breath we take we expose us to the very same DANGERS that Steve did that day and he would tell you so..
He took great pride in Human beings & always tried to work out a compromise line between the wildlife & humans because we do need all of them on this earth and we do all need the very same thing..
