I have watched Steve's show from day one. I am an avid animal lover and reptiles in particular have always captivated me and my family.

When Steve first appeared on my television I flipped out. I was so happy to see these beautiful creatures getting some attention from someone who obviously loved and admired them.

When I got my Crocodile Gecko I named him Irwin after Steve. A small gesture he will never know about but no matter what whether I was watching the Croc Hunter show or not Steve was on my mind every time I took care of Irwin.

I am so sad for Steve's children and his wife. I am so sorry. Steve has changed the world for the animals he loved. The world will be worse off without him and better off for the work he has done.

My family loved him and will always remember him and we love the world he lived and we will do our best to continue where Steve left off.
