My Deepest Heartfelt Sympathy goes out to Terri, Bindi, Baby Bob, Bob Irwin (Steve's Dad), Steve's sister, Wes (Steves best mate)and the Australia Zoo Family.

Please keep up the good work and continue to follow Steve's Mission for Animal conservation.
I hope some day I can come to your Zoo to see first hand all that has been accomplished over the years. I just wish I could have made it there while Steve was still here.

I have always loved animals, mostly domestic animals and local wildlife, but never thought much good about crocodiles, until I started watching Steve and Terri on TV. You really changed my opinion about crocs and other animals and I wish to Thank you for that. Steve made the show exciting and educational in no way I've ever seen done before. My favorite laughable scene is when Steve comes across the Parentee (spelling off I am sure) Poo and picks it up, smells it and then puts it in his pocket to look at later. We always would get a real laugh when he would do that. His unique way of getting his message across is one thing I will remember him by. His Love for his Family and all animals can not be disputed. You could see it plain as day while watching his shows. He loved you all so very much.

I know I dont know you personally, but your all still family anyways. Its hard to explain, how we humans can love and care about people we dont personally know, but somehow it happens. Someone like Steve touch's our heart and soul, that we find ourselves glued to the TV waiting for the next episode to air. Waiting to see what adventure Steve and Terri have in store for us.

I will miss Steve very much and will always remember him. His Zest for life, adventure and love for all.

Steve Irwin- The Crocodile Hunter (He should have been called The Crocodile's Guardian Angel or The Crocodile Protector).

Good Bye Mate - We Love You

Dear Terri, Bindy, Baby Bob, and all of Steve's extended family and friends..

I want to personally extend my condolences.. It is sometimes hard to find the right words to say in such moments.

I have never met Steve personally, however I have been a fan for sometime.
Steve was a great teacher. He not only taught us knowledge of many great animals, he taught us to respect and take responsibility of them.
He entertained us with his great personality, humor and his corageous spirit..He taught us all to be brave and make the important changes necessary to preserve wildlife.
Steve was lucky, he truly did what he loved, he knew what his mission was (To save the animals)...and he has showed us, the great importance of it.
Many people do not get the chance to change the world for the better..Steve has changed it for me, for all and the rest to come.

Steve will live on forever! He may not be here in person, which we all will miss, however he will be in our hearts..

I know for me this is true, because the next time I go camping, hiking or whatever brings me in contact with wildlife, I will think of Steve and remember what his mission was and still is!!!

Sincerely,

Melody from Pennsylvania,USA
You are all in my thoughts and prayers

We are still in tears at our house when we are deep in thought of Steve and his family. I so enjoyed the marathon The animal planet showed this weekend.
I have written a poem in honor Steve and what he gave to all of us. We will miss him s-o-o- much.

"Steve Irwin - In your honor"
Years ago it was just a little show.
Made you chuckle somehow.
This host, so vibrant, full of life,
Seemed a bit crazy.

His enthusiasm was infectious.
His passion was exuberant.
His delight in wildlife was grand.
And we found ourselves captured.

Captured into his enthusiasm,
His passion, his delight, his mission.
Captured into a world unlike our own.
Captured, but somehow safe.

Not afraid and not wanting to leave.
Grasping for more knowledge.
Our hearts reached out.
Enveloping this man’s life.

We learned more about wildlife,
Than we ever dreamed possible.
A kin to the days of Jacques Cousteau
And the undersea world that was foreign to us.

Never have we known someone so enjoyable
To watch, to love, to hold dear to our hearts.
Each adventure; it was as though we were there
Right along with him every minute

Never, not one moment, did we ever see
A doubt in his mind what his mission was.
Never, did we see a day of diminished joy
For his work or the animals.

If we could only spend that type of passion,
Joy and love for our jobs each and every day
Can you even imagine what type of
World we would be introduced to?

Steve has inspired us,
Encouraged us, and
Just plain radiated what true missions in
Life are all about.

In his tragic loss, he can still inspire us to
Keep our own passions alive. To know
There are no guarantees in life and we
Must continue to live each day to the “fullest”

We must do what we love.
Whatever our passion is. Find a way to
Work it into a joy filled, shared
Experience with others.

Was Steve larger than life? Perhaps
His love, passion and mission for wildlife
Is only a part of what made it that way
Sharing it with the world, sealed the deal.

We will miss Steve probably more than
Any other television personality we have known.
We pray for the family and friends he held so
Dear to his heart.

If I may, one last note to Steve himself…
It's hard to let you go mate. We will miss you.
No one has touched our hearts the way you have.
We will not forget you or your mission

To the Irwin family - Close and extended

We all have tears and caring in our hearts for your personal loss but also carry a smile as we all recognize the magnificent mission represented by Steve.
The world will miss him but what a legacy he leaves! The animals worldwide will miss him most; I personally believe that they know their loss. And what a bar he has set for others to follow.
Our prayers for you all -

I want to send my deepest condolences to Terri, Bindi and Bob. I know that I never met Steve Irwin and his loss has touched me as if he were a member of my family. I just can't believe that he is gone. I wish the family strength and courage to go on and keep his legacy alive. He has made such a difference in his lifetime that hopefully it will continue on in Bindi and Bob with Terri and their Grandpa to guide them. You will always be in our prayers. Steve will always live on in our hearts. Crocodile Hunter forever.

I remember back when my grown sons where younger and discovered this crazy guy on Discovery Channel. The more they told about him the harder it was to believe, until my husband and I saw for ourselves. Still friends and family members would look at us in disbelieve when we tried to discribe him. We loved him so much that when our nephew was born 8 years ago, we started him with the tapes and as he grew older one Christmas we gave him Steve with his jeep and croc. He spent hours in the floor with his uncle playing "Crocodille
Steve". He started saving his money at a much younger age so he could take his mom to Australia to meet "Crocodille Steve". He still wants to come to the zoo and maybe see where his hero worked. Thank you to the Irwin family for providing our family more hours than we could ever count of fun, learning, laughing and just enjoying "Crocodille Steve"! He was a Hero to all of us animal lovers everywhere.

For Terri, Bindi, Robert and Family,
That you may know how you have touched lives.
Steve Irwin could never be forgotten.
Thanks to the wonders of Video, Steve will still be teaching and bringing joy to the generations to come! my children are 3 and 4 years of age, one of their favorite games is the "Steve" game where they are saving Crocs and other wiley creatures. we had only just introduced the Crocodile Hunter to their awareness this year. my husband and i thought that it was a vital part of their education to 'meet' Steve. they are too young to understand what it means that he is gone. The man was a force of Nature, and a force for Nature. he was a man who had a powerful aura of goodness and kindness. so powerful was he that he came into our homes through the television and made us feel that we knew him personally. i told my mother that her generation remembers where they were when Kennedy was shot. mine will never forget hearing the news that Steve Irwin had died. it just couldn't be possible!
i cannot remember when i first saw The Crocodile Hunter, it was years ago, but i can say that it changed me and my views forever. i have never since been able to watch any other person handle wildlife without an inward cringe that they aren't doing it "right". in other words, not as Steve Irwin would do it. His innate knowledge of animal psychology was astounding! and rare. we have watched everything Steve ever made, and will buy the DVDs that our children will be able to say the same.
He was the only celebrity we had ever wished to meet--sure that he could only get more golden in person; that he was genuine.
i am still crying. tears are running down my face as i type this.
Steve lived more in his 44 years than another could do in 88. i think his only regrets could be in leaving his family too soon. it was very obvious that his passion for wildlife paled only in comparision with his passion for his family. i sincerly hope that their Mother and Grandfather will teach Bindi and Bob to carry on from here. i will never get my wish to meet Steve, but i am hoping that i will one day get to take my children to meet Bindi and Bob at the Australia Zoo.
how lucky you are to have been a part of his life.
We are very, very sorry for your loss.

I just wanted to send my condolences to the Irwin family. I spent most of yesterday watching the Crocodile Hunter marathon on AP and at times almost forgot he was no longer with us. Seeing him with his children was especially hard. How wonderful for them though to have so much footage of their father and all the beautiful things he said about them and Terri will be forever preserved. I have a lump in my throat just writing this now and can't imagine the pain Terri, Bendi, Bob, Bob (his dad), and his sisters as well as the staff at the zoo are going through. The only peace I found watching yesterday was finding out that he's been reuited with his mom in heaven.
God Bless Steve and his family and friends.

To the entire Irwin Family, Terri's family in Oregon, the Australian Zoo Family and many of Steve's friends

My condolences on the passing of a remarkable man. Steve will and always be in our hearts. My daughter and son both love to watch the Crocodile Hunter shows. For a man who has gone through many snake bites and croc bites how could this happen. Was this God's way of letting Steve know that his job was done. I don't think so because God would have never taken Steve away from his family and friends, especially his son Robert(Bob). I can only think that God might have said when Steve arrived in heaven. CRIKEY! May Steve rest in peace with his mother Lyn and may they catch up on old times. May Terri and the kids along with Steve's dad go on into the future knowing that their Crocodile Hunter will also be traveling with them know matter when this new life's road will lead. For everyone that Steve has touched over the years, you will be in my prayers.
God Bless everyone, May Steve rest in the arms of God and let's be thankful for the times we had with him.
Also in my heart and prayers

I am also having a hard time believing Steve Irwin is really gone. BUT HE WILL NEVER EVER BE FORGOTTEN! I know his wife, kids and his best friend Wes and his father will carry on his very important campaign for the animals.

I guess God saw what he could do for animals and thought,we need him up here to be a guardian angel for people. I can just here him at the pearly gates now, Crikey, oh, well, I'll give it a go! Our family loves you Steve and will miss you dearly. Our prayers go out to his family and friends.

Never have I been so moved by the passing of someone I had never actually met, but this man...zinging around my television screen jumping on crocodiles, gently snatching up snakes and lizards, dodging the lundges of venomous snakes while he oohed and ahhed them and made us see how beautiful they were suddenly had his life whisked away by one of the very things he was so consumed by....his wildlife....

The love was strong in his eyes each time no matter what type of animal he was after or how many times he did it. At first we thought he had taken leave of his senses when we watched his daring attempts to show us what a croc was capable of....standing his ground until the croc lundged straight into his face....our reactions were simply priceless and never once did we not react no matter how many times we watched.

The world mourns your passing Steve Irwin but knowing you have touched so many with your lifelong passion should make you proud. You have made this a better world by just being you.

I would like to give my condolences as well. I am 18 years old, and watching his show actually made my arachniphobia dissappear. I have also been into animals since Iwas very young, and I cried when I found out that Steve died. I feel so sad for Terrie, Bindi, and Bob. But I know that he's watching all of us in heaven, and smiling at all of us.

I was hoping to find an official place to do this at. Steve Irwin was a hero...a great man, and a loving father. And through his show, he touched many lives. I can honestly say Steve had a great impact on my life. Growing up, not many of my peers cared as much for the environment as I do...TV shows like Crocodile Hunter were my window into a world I could not experience, or discuss with the kids in my life.

Steve helped me to form the philosophy of "never the animals' fault" that I still use today.

Steve Irwin...I will miss you...and I will always remember you.

To Terri, Bindi, Baby Bob, and all of Steve's Family and friends, I extend my greatest sympathy. As much as I know I will miss Steve...I never met him, and cannot begin to feel the heartache that you do.

They say the good die young...and Steve was one of the best. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

My Family sends Our Deepest Condolences and Prayers to Teri and her children, and his Father, and All the member of the Australian Zoo. He loved animals just as much as he Loved his Family and it showed on his show and in his face. He will be deeply missed all over the world. I loved watching the Croc Hunter, Croc Files, and Croc Diaries I would watch them all the time if I could his energy and love for animal is infectous just by watching him. His memory will never Die in the Hearts of everyone that understood what he was all about. My Dream Vacation is to come the Australian Zoo some day just to see more of what Steve believed in, in person. Again I am so sorry for the Lose of someone as Special as Steve Irwin.

My deepest sympathy. I didn't watch many of his shows because they bothered me. However, now that he is gone I can't help myself but watch them on Animal Planet. I am so sorry I didn't realize till he was gone how amazing he really was. I haven't gone scuba diving in years and I think back to all the times I was looking for shells on the ocean floor and had a ray fly up in front of me and I never knew about the barb. I am so sorry for your loss.

My husband and I would like to extend our deepest sympathy to Terri, Bindi, Bob, Bob Sr. and the entire staff at Austrial Zoo. We have been watching The Crocodile Hunter since the very inception aired on Animal Planet. When we heard the news about Steve, we were completely heartbroken and will be for a very very long time. I can't think of anyone that I have enjoyed more . I want to thank Animal Planet for airing the continuance shows Sunday. I have totally enjoyed all of your antics. You all are very down to earth people and I believe that is why we fell in love with everyone . Steve may have gone to a special place with Sui and his Mom, Lynn, but he will live on forever in our hearts. He will truly be missed, he really was one in a billion. Love and prayers to all. Like all on here, I would like to extend the deepest possible sympathy to Terri, the children, and also to Steve's mother, father, and siblings. Our family has enjoyed the show for a few years now and even went to the theater to see the movie. For what it's worth, the world over is mourning with you; you're not alone.
I decided to buy the movie on dvd, dvr some of the old Crocodile Hunter shows, and hold a Tribute To Steve Irwin Night at my house. My son and I will sit and just enjoy a small portion of what he and Terri have brought to us over the last few years. It's not much, but it's our little way of saying thanks for all they've done for us and wildlife.
Again, to all of the Irwin family, our thoughts are with you at this tragic time. I hope the zoo lives on through Steve's memory and teachings. He will be sadly missed but fondly remembered.
