our heartfelt condolences go out to terri bindi and bob. steve was a great personality to watch and will be greatly missed. hard to believe he is gone. may you fly with the angels. Wade and Kelly in CO
My family is truly saddened for the Irwin family. When I heard the news, I was devistated. In today's world or poor influence that is offered through television, "The Crocodile Hunter" and Discovery have given my family hope that there still exist ethics and integrity in television programming. Steve Irwin demonstrated ethics and integrity through every program (whether an episode or an interview) and brought untold moments of laughter into my household and amongst friends. Often times I would give a crack at imitating him while handling...the family pet... maybe a ferocious Gardner Snake...and my kids would absolutely come unglued at the seams. We will miss him greatly and appreciate everything that he and his family have shared with us. Steve will NEVER be replaced. He will live on in all of our hearts forever!
With all of the love and prayers we can muster,
Brian, Wendy, Madi and Augi Willmon Bend, Oregon. USA

I understand how you feel; I am crying right now, too. I am 8-years-old and your dad/husband was my greatest hero. Bindi, you will have to tell Bob how cool your Dad was because I bet he was the best dad in the world. I wish I had a dad like him.
I am so sorry and we will think of you Bayleigh (8-years-old, Indiana)
Terry, Bindy and Bob...I'm so very sorry for your loss. Steve had become a "virtual" member of our family and was on our televsion all the time. I loved to watch crocodile hunter and the crock diaries. I am so heartbroken that he is gone. The greatest quality about Steve was his humor, the love for his family and the passion he had for the animals of Australia. I know that God works all things for good and I can only hope that Terry, Bindi and Bob will carry on his legacy of animal awareness and conservaion. Please know that you all are in my prayers.
Shocked and in mourning. My thoughts and prayers are with Terri and the kids. Steve was a one-off and an inspiration to millions - including myself. My best friends son adores him, gets up early to watch whilst giggling and laughing over his bowl of coco pops! I haven't encountered a child who doesn't love the man. Perhaps that will be one of his legacys, to enrich childrens lives with his love of nature and give them the confidence to pursue their dreams. I'll miss you, rest in peace.

Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to the Irwin family and all who were close to Steve. He was obviously a man of passion who brought great joy to those around him as well as those of us glued to the screen anxious to watch his next move.
I will always have great memories of several instances with friends and family charading our own versions of Steve's adventures. "Danger Danger!!" "Did you see the fangs on that beautie? Crikey!" "If you're not careful with this croc she'll take you right under for a death roll!"
We love the entertainment that he provided, the example that he set and the man that he will always be.
What an AMAZING thing...to be able to accomplish in life what he has! To the family, I send my deepest condolences. I am so sorry for your loss of a son, husband, father & friend. I have watched and supported his efforts for over 10 years - and it was because of him that I formed the conservation beliefs I cherrish today. If he made an impact on me, think of all of the others he passed this wonderful trait to!! Even though he is no longer with us in this world, his spirit will live on through his dreams of what he wanted to accomplish with the Austrailian Zoo & other conservation efforts through his friends, family, and co-workers.
Deepest condolences to Steve's family and friends... Will always remember the knowledge Steve has passed into me... Crocodile Hunter spirit stays on... FOREVER STEVE IRWIN!!!

I find it impossible to express the loss I feel in Steve's passing. The world has lost a great man who taught us so much(I still hate snakes, but thanks for teaching us about them, Steve!) My greatest sadness is that Bindi and Bob will miss out on so much without Steve, but I know Terri and all his friends and family at the Australian Zoo(and around the world) will continue his teachings of Animal Conservation and Respect. Stay strong, Terri! He'll always be with you! My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family!
To Terry, Bindy, Bob, Mr. Irwin (Steve's Dad) and his Australia Zoo family: I am saddened and shocked to hear of Steve's passing. I started watching The Crocodile Hunter during my many hospital stays in 2001 and it was the highlight of my days. Steve's enthusiasm for the welfare of all animals on this planet was contagious. His love for Terry and his kids showed on his face and in his manner. My sympathies to Terry and the kids, his dad and his zoo family.
Steve, we will miss your infectious smile and exploits. I know that you are now with Suey and all your other animal friends in Heaven.
May God comfort those that Steve has left behind.
In sympathy and prayer, Sheila Carter, Independence, MO USA
