My family is truly saddened for the Irwin family. When I heard the news, I was devistated. In today's world or poor influence that is offered through television, "The Crocodile Hunter" and Discovery have given my family hope that there still exist ethics and integrity in television programming. Steve Irwin demonstrated ethics and integrity through every program (whether an episode or an interview) and brought untold moments of laughter into my household and amongst friends. Often times I would give a crack at imitating him while handling...the family pet... maybe a ferocious Gardner Snake...and my kids would absolutely come unglued at the seams.
We will miss him greatly and appreciate everything that he and his family have shared with us. Steve will NEVER be replaced. He will live on in all of our hearts forever!

With all of the love and prayers we can muster,

Brian, Wendy, Madi and Augi Willmon

Dear Terri, Bindi, and Bob

I understand how you feel; I am crying right now, too. I am 8-years-old and your dad/husband was my greatest hero. Bindi, you will have to tell Bob how cool your Dad was because I bet he was the best dad in the world. I wish I had a dad like him.

I am so sorry and we will think of you

Terry, Bindy and Bob...I'm so very sorry for your loss. Steve had become a "virtual" member of our family and was on our televsion all the time. I loved to watch crocodile hunter and the crock diaries. I am so heartbroken that he is gone. The greatest quality about Steve was his humor, the love for his family and the passion he had for the animals of Australia. I know that God works all things for good and I can only hope that Terry, Bindi and Bob will carry on his legacy of animal awareness and conservaion. Please know that you all are in my prayers.

Shocked and in mourning. My thoughts and prayers are with Terri and the kids. Steve was a one-off and an inspiration to millions - including myself. My best friends son adores him, gets up early to watch whilst giggling and laughing over his bowl of coco pops! I haven't encountered a child who doesn't love the man. Perhaps that will be one of his legacys, to enrich childrens lives with his love of nature and give them the confidence to pursue their dreams. I'll miss you, rest in peace.

Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to the Irwin family and all who were close to Steve. He was obviously a man of passion who brought great joy to those around him as well as those of us glued to the screen anxious to watch his next move.

I will always have great memories of several instances with friends and family charading our own versions of Steve's adventures. "Danger Danger!!" "Did you see the fangs on that beautie? Crikey!" "If you're not careful with this croc she'll take you right under for a death roll!"

We love the entertainment that he provided, the example that he set and the man that he will always be.

What an AMAZING thing...to be able to accomplish in life what he has! To the family, I send my deepest condolences. I am so sorry for your loss of a son, husband, father & friend. I have watched and supported his efforts for over 10 years - and it was because of him that I formed the conservation beliefs I cherrish today. If he made an impact on me, think of all of the others he passed this wonderful trait to!! Even though he is no longer with us in this world, his spirit will live on through his dreams of what he wanted to accomplish with the Austrailian Zoo & other conservation efforts through his friends, family, and co-workers.

May God Bless you in your time of need.

RIP Steve.

All of our condolences to Terri, Bindi, Bob, and the rest of his friends and family.

Though we never met him, we felt like we knew him. He was a great man and did great work. Thank you for everything Steve. We hope his work continues even without him. We loved watching all of his shows and even the movie.

Crikey! One man's amazing, albeit, short lifetime has made such an impact on this planet, imagine what all of us working together can do.

Once again, thank you Mr. Steve Irwin.

Steve was one of this planet's greatest diplomats of natural conservation. We can only hope that his message will be heeded by all of humanity in hopes of respecting and saving our natural world. Steve's gift of education will span generations and influence many yet to be born. He will be greatly missed by those of us who appreciated that talent and love. My heartfelt condolences to the Erwin family and all who were close to him. His life was a gift to us all.
