I've been watching Steve Erwin since I stumbled across the new Animal Planet network, when I was 16. I was instantly hooked, as was my younger brother and my parents.

I'm 25 now and my children are three and they love him more than I do. We watch Animal Planet, rather than cartoons, because they want to see the crocodiles.

Thanks to the love that Steve had for animals, my children have a developed a love for animals. For that we will be forever grateful.
