Well here I go... I thought the best way to respect and honor Steve was to drop you a line and share my memories and thoughts with you. I have watched the television program for many years. I was easily converted and have enjoyed doing what I can to help here in the states. When my daughter was born I felt that the best way to get her excited about wildlife, was to watch the show with her. Some of her first words were Steve and Croc. I enjoyed many hours with Raina ( my daughter ) watching and learning everything we could. We then would go to the mountains, or the beach and observe what we could in relation to your show, and her own interests. Now that she is 7 her love of animals including crocs, snakes, and everything under the sun is immense. She reads sooo many books on the subject, and I think she will make a difference in her own way in years to come. So thank you for the inspiration and education. Steve, Terri, and the whole staff at the Zoo has taught my family and I a lesson in life and conservation that we will pass on through our families generations. I will miss Steve greatly, and wish i could have met him. In some ways I felt like I have. I know its not much in the face of your loss, but Steve has made an impact on my whole family, and made us better people because of it. Thanks again.... Tim Fogarty
You have absolutly hit it on the nose.. I think we all collectively have the same memories and thoughts of what the "croc hunter" has done for our families... I pray we all will continue to remember his legacy and take it to the next level with him in our hearts...
