I was sitting at my computer doing homework when the news ticker came across stating "Steve Irwin Killed". At first I thought it was a joke, " No, that couldn't have happen, Not Steve Irwin." Then the news stations on TV broke the news again. I sat there and cried.

I have been watching Steve ever since he came on TV. Watching him and Terri on all their adventures, then when Bindi came along, and lastly Bob. I have been so upset all week and feel as though a part of my heart has been crushed. I feel for Terri and what she must be going through. I feel for Bindi and Bob losing their father at such a young age. I pray for Terri, Bindi, Bob, and all the people at Australian Zoo.

The world has lost a true hero for the animals.
