I don't really know what to say. The sadness makes the words disappear, but I want to say something. To let you know I care. It's really silly of me, I know. But I love the work you two, and all the others that are behind you do. I can't believe someone can give so much and expect so little.

I've always wanted to travel to Australia and work in Australia Zoo, and now I am more determined than ever. I want to work with animals, and you guys have always been my heroes. May you find comfort in mine and others words. I know what it is like to lose someone close. I don't know how YOU feel, but I know I had a miserable time and I feel for you. I'm not crying, I haven't shed a tear since I was kid, but I'm thinking of you all the time. You are not alone in this hard time, just keep remembering that. Just some stupid words from a student that cares too much.

Terri I want you to know how much Steve and yourself have touched my life. From the very first day I have watched as you and Steve have grown together. I have cheered you on as you have both accomplished amazing things together. You have both imspired me greatly.

And now at this moment I feel there is nothing I can say that will make this better for you. I have been deeply touched by you both and now I feel as though a member of my family has been taken away.

I will never forget Steve and what he has done not only for wildlife and the environment, but also for all of us.

If there were a way I would send you a book that I was given a few years ago by my best friend, who also passed away recently. Its called Spirit Walker by Nancy Wood. It is about the courage, determination and spiritual faith of the Native Americans, and in many ways reminds me of Steve and gives me some comfort.

Terri, I can only imagine the pain you must feel, which is why I cry every night. You and Steve, as well as Bindi and Robert, are in the hearts of so many. Our pain we feel could never compare to what you are feeling, and becaue of this tragedy, I honestly will probably never marry again. I feel so deeply for you and cannot imagine goig through what you are feeling. However, he is with you, Terri; can you feel him. He will be with you throughout eternity. He wants you to continue his work, to carry on in his name and to be an encouragement to yall's children. As he did for his father at his mother's death, you must doe for your children at his death. Terri, I am not going to tell you to stay strong, that would be unfair. You need your moment of grief. You and Steve were outstanding mentors for many married couples even if they don't realize it. AS soon as I heard about Steve my mind shifted towards you. My heart beats for you and your beautiful children. I want to thank you and Steve for showing the entire world of the possibilities of love. I used to think that the word soul-mate was overused but in your case it is a solid fact that you and Steve Irwin are soul-mates. I read that Barbara Walters is going to interview you.
